The english team Arsenal deprives Atletico Madrid from contesting the Champions League at the head of a group, where the first beats him in the classification of the European Union (UEFA).Arsenal skipped the supplement for the Champions League qualification yesterday by winning at home to Fenerbahce 2-0 to repeat his victory back in Istanbul 3-0.
Arsenal guaranteed to be replaced at the head of a group instead of Atletico during the draw for the group stage which will pull in Monaco on the 29th August.
Atletico Madrid came in ninth place classification of teams qualifying for the group stage, consisting of eight groups, to fall into the second category teams, while Arsenal within the group header to being in eighth place.
The first category includes eight teams: Bayern Munich (Germany), Barcelona (Spain), Chelsea (England), Real Madrid (Spain), Manchester United (England), Arsenal (England), Porto (Portugal), Benfica (Portugal).
