Jose Mourinho praises Mata.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has praised the attitude of Juan Mata and admitted he could work his way into his plans.

Mourinho has left Mata on the fringes of his Premier League squad this season and has encouraged the Spaniard to lift his game  particularly when he does not have the ball - if he wanted to be included.The Blues player of the season for the last two years, has been a suprise omission from a number of the managers Premier League match-day squads as his style of play appeared to be at odds with Mourinhos ideas.

The midfielder was given his chance in the 2-0 Capital One Cup victory at Swindon upon Tuesday, impressing the Portuguese boss, and a compromise now appears to have been reached.

We are speaking about a team that is two divisions under us but it doesnt matter who you play against  his attitude was very good.

The last match against Fulham, he was not selected. If he keeps working that way and adapting to my way of thinking I think the natural tendency is to be in the team.
