Ozil already leads Premier League for assists!

Mesut Ozil's impressive begin to his Arsenal career continued on Sunday as the playmaker had a hand in every three Arsenal goals in the victory against Stoke.

Despite joining the club in tardy August, Ozil already has the most assists in the Premier League this season and Flamini believes the German's quality can help the club land their first fragment of silverware since 2005.
The German international has already got three assists in his two games for the North London club, setting up one upon his debut in Arsenals win over Sunderland two weekends ago. Ozil added another two to his tally against Stoke City upon Saturday when Per Mertesacker and Bacary Sagna got their heads upon the cease of free-kicks from the Germans boot.

Ozil leads a host of other Premier players who have two assists. However, the likes of West Hams Matt Jarvis, Cardiff Citys Don Cowie, Manchester Citys Pablo Zabaleta and Manchester Uniteds Wayne Rooney have played at least two more games that Ozil.

There is a lot of confidence surrounding Arsenal at the moment with the signing of Ozil prompting many to forecast that the Gunners can win their first trophy in eight years.
