Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta is upon Barcelona's radar - and the Catalan giants could make a move if Liverpool and Arsenal target Martin Montoya leaves the Nou Camp.
The La Liga champions are making contingency plans in case the 22-year-old leaves and have identified Spain international Azpilicueta as a possible target. The 24-year-old has featured just once so far in the Premier League during the current campaign - a brief cameo during the Blues' insipid goalless draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford in August - and reports are suggesting that La Liga champions Barcelona could be eager to return Azpilicueta to his native Spain.

The potential for such a move, though, could well depend upon the future of fellow full-back Martin Montoya. The 22-year-old is believed to be considering leaving the Camp Nou, with a host of teams including Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly vying for his signature.
If Montoya were to seek a switch away from the Catalan giants, then Barca may well subsequently further their interest in signing Azpilicueta.
